Our objective is to provide you with clean food—food that is free of preservatives and other additives such as antibiotics and hormone residues. As a result, we seek to supply an alternative to the mass production techniques that depend upon such substances and are widely used in agriculture today. We provide the consumer with access to a network of farmers that produce foods in a more traditional way. We also seek to support agricultural practices that respect the needs and integrity of animals being raised for food purposes.

It is our ultimate goal to provide better quality food than is readily available; food that is produced in an ethically acceptable fashion and deliver it right to your doorstep.

Our Products

Organic Foods
The Organic foods we offer are produced without the use of synthetic or chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides of any kind. They also do not contain any genetically modified organisms, antibiotics or synthesized hormones.

Such products are certified to be organic by an appropriate body that sets standards in this regard and conducts ongoing inspection of its members. Organic foods often cost more than non-organic foods because of increased cost of production.

All Natural Foods
The All Natural foods we offer seek to address specific issues in relation to each particular product. For example, All Natural meats exclude the use of antibiotics or hormones. Baked goods and other prepared foods do not include any additional preservatives or other additives.

At The Clean Food Connection, we make every effort to research each one of our All Natural products and producers to ensure that they are providing the goods described. To the best of our knowledge, none of the All Natural products we list contain MSG, artificial colours or any artificial sweeteners. All Natural foods are usually priced somewhat higher than standard fare, but more modestly than Organic.

We do our best to locate nitrate free meat products. Products that do contain minimal nitrates will be clearly indicated.

Wherever possible, we work directly with local farmers and producers which leads to better freshness and often better prices.
